JAMMU, Dec 27: A civilian was killed and over a dozen others including two Special Police Officers (SPOs) were injured as police opened firing on a violent mob of villagers which repeatedly tried to set Marwah police station on fire in protest against alleged custodial killing of a civilian at village Darerna in Marwah area of Doda district today. Police, however, said that the civilian was not killed in custody as he had already escaped police custody three days back after his arrest..........more
