The leaders of these Hindu organizations, while appreciating the Chief Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad for visiting the accident site immediately and sanctioning relief expressed the hope that the Chief Minister will also apply the same yardsticks in favour of the victims families of Padder accident who are with out compensation and relief till date though the accident took place over five months back.

They said that in case of Padder accident the compensation has not been paid till date in favour of those victims families whose dead bodies have been since recovered.

The statement also took the strong exception to the style of functioning of the State Government and expressed concern over the reported statements of Custodian General of the state asking for forceful eviction of Hindus from evacuees properties and allowing no agency or body to interfere in the Affairs of Custodian Department.
