Dussehra
on 22nd October 2004
Sir,
Hindu
Community is pained to find a press
column published by a Govt. Agency in
Daily Excelsior dated 9th Oct 2004
regading Dussehra celebrations and
burning of Ravan's Effigy on 23rd October
2004.
All the
religious festivals and rituals of Hindu
community are celebrated and solemnized
as per the Almanac legislated and
formulated by All India Almanac of Hindu
community & All India Vrat Parav
Council. No Agency, State, Centre, Bank,
or any other Forum can direct or dictate
their whims or wishes on any community
regarding religious matters which means
complete interference to the sagacious
laws of religion.
It is
important to describe here that Dussehra
is being celebrated in whole of the
Indian territory and abroad along with
burning of "Ravana's Effigy" on
22nd Oct 2004 according to the "All
India Vrat Parv Council".
Martand
Punchang from Chandigarh, Mufeed Alam
(Devi Dayal) Puchang from Jallandher,
Raghvender, Punchang & Vajayeshwer
Jantrie from Jammu have also published
Dussehra on 22nd Oct 2004 and no way of
23rd Oct 2004 which holds
"Punchak" in its womb.
Yours
etc...
