SRINAGAR, Oct 11: Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh today announced that with the additionality of Rs 500 cr, the Centre’s rescue and rehabilitation programme for the victims of the Saturday last earthquake in Jammu and Kashmir would be of an order of Rs 642 cr. He said even that stipulation could be temporary as the Centre could provide more financial assistance in accordance with the genuine requirement in the tremor-ravaged border State..............more
