Introduce
Arabic studies in JU
Sir,
It is very
strange that University of Jammu is not
offering some subjects at PG level since
the day of its creation. These subjects
are : 1) Arabic, 2) Islamic Studies, 3)
Persian
I want to
highlight the problem of those students
who have Arabic or Islamic studies or
Persian as one of the main subjects in
Graduation in Govt. Degree colleges of
Jammu Division especially Govt. Degree
College Rajouri etc etc. After completing
their graduation if they want to do PG in
the above said subjects then they have to
wander in Kashmir University ;
Aligarh
Muslim University ;Jamia Millia Islamia
University etc.Most of the Universities
are outside the J&K state and so the
students have to suffer a lot .
Mufti
Sahib has taken a bold step by
introducing MCA and PG Chemistry in Govt.
Degree College Rajouri and hence upgraded
it as a PG college .But now an important
problem which I have highlighted in the
beginning must be sorted out by
introducing the above said PG courses in
University of Jammu or inside the campus
of Degree College of distt Rajouri and
Poonch.
It is
further requested that there is no need
to establish a school before starting
Baba Ghulam Shah University ,Rajouri.It
will be better that if PG courses like
MCA,MSc/MA Math, MBA, Home Science are
started in first phase (on the pattern of
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University ) in
the rented structures until the campus
has its own two or three deptt facility,
so that students and other people
(employees) can be benefited without any
further delay.I further request the CM
J&K State to get a special package of
Rs 50 crores or more ( for University)
from the PM during his visit to J&K
State , so that the University can be
constructed as early as possible.
