Regularise
ReT teachers
Sir,
The Govt
has started Rehber-e-Talem scheme in the
field of education to achieve 100 percent
literacy in the State. I want to draw
attention of the concerned authorities
that to what extent the Govt is
successful in achieving this aim. The
Govt has recruited many teachers under
this scheme but the majority of them
consider their job just as a source of
pension and are not sincere to their
duty. This is effecting the studies of
the students. Now, as far as the Govt aim
of bringing 100 percent literacy is
concerned. I do not think that this
scheme is helping in any way to achieve
it. In fact, the teachers working under
this scheme are not ready to do justice
to their duty because of no justice being
provided to them. There is also a well
known proverb As you sow, so shall you
reap''. Same is the case here. Now, due
to this, the level of illiteracy is
increasing instead of the decreasing.
Then how any body can guess that the
literacy aim of 100 percent is being
achieved by this scheme? Actually, for
all this, the teachers working under this
scheme cannot be balmed.
It is
therefore requested to the concerned
authorities to think once again over this
scheme and create permanent posts of
teachers as well as regularise the
teachers working under this scheme if it
really wants to achieve the 100 percent
literacy aim and universalisation of
education in the country.
Yours
etc...
