Applications on prescribed proforma for grant of scholarship at Post Matric Level courses are hereby invited from the students of Jammu Province belonging to SC/ST/OBC and physically Handicapped categories studying out side and with in state. Further the District Social Welfare Officer will forward the application forms to this Directorate after proper scrutiny of the following certificate with their application forms:-

(a) Permanent Residence Certificate.
(b) Caste/category certificate.
(c) Parents/Guardian Income Certificate from concerned Tehsildar in case of students whose parents/guardian are non-govt. employees. In case of employed Parents/guardians salary certificate of concerned Drawing and Disbursing Officer is required along with affidavit that the income from all sources does not exceed the prescribed limit.

Income slab in case of SC/ST student Rs. 65, 290/- Annual Income slab in case of OBC/PH Students is Rs. 44,500/- annual.

(d) Marks certificate (Attested copies by gazetted officer) of the last three years examination passed.

(e) Bonafied Certificate of the concerned institution.

(f) Passport size photographs to be pasted on application forms.

(g) Free receipts of the concerned course.

(h) Promotion certificate in case the student has passed the previous examination for which scholarship already received.

Notice Inviting Tender N.I.T. No. 7 of 2004-05.

For and on behalf of the Governor of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir State, the Executive Engineer, Irrigation Division Kathua as representative of the Government hereby invites sealed tenders on the prescribed tender form through Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier Services from the eligible approved P.W.D. contractors registered in appropriate class/category for the below mentioned work. The tenders should be affixed with Rs. 5/- revenue stamps and accompanied with 2% Earnest Money in the shape of C.D.R. duly pledged in favour of Executive Engineer, Irrigation Division Kathua and additional draft of Rs. 300/- (Non-Refundable) on account of validity of tender cost/cost of tender document which shall be opened on the same day or any other subsequent date convenient to the tender opening authority in presence of such tenderers who may like to be present at the time of opening of the tenders.

The detailed tender document for the above mentioned work can be seen in the office of the Executive Engineer, Irrigation Division Kathua on any working day but three days before the date of receipt of tenders in the office concerned.

The tenderers must cast their tenders on the prescribed tender forms issued by the competent authority be offering their rate ABOVE OR BELOW the sanctioned schedule of rates of 1997 in vogue in the Irrigation & Flood Control Department Jammu at present. The rate list of the works is attached to this N.I.T. The tenders received late due to postal delay or due to any other reasons shall be responsibility of the tenderer(s) concerned and further all such tenders shall be rejected.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders affixed with Rs. 5.00 Revenue Stamps are invited on behalf of Government of Jammu and Kashmir State addressed to Director, Handlooms Development Department, 5-B/C Gandhi Nagar, Jammu from the intending tenderers for supply of the items enlisted in the Annexure available with the Directorate of Handlooms. The tender application along with samples must reach the office of the Director, Handlooms Development Department latest by 29th November, 2004 before 4:00 P.M. The tenders shall be opened on 30th November, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. in presence of the tenderers who may wish to be present. The list of items along with specifications can be obtained from the office of Director, Handlooms.

1. The intending tenderer(s) shall have to deposit Rs. 6,000/- in the shape of Call Deposit Receipt drawn on any Scheduled Bank pledged to Director, Handlooms Development Department, 5-B/C Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, returnable to the unsuccessful tenderer(s) and to be retained or forfeited in case of defaulter as penalty to unsuccessful tenderers or to be retained till execution of the complete supply order as per specification laid down in the tender.

2. Tenderer (s) registered with the Department of Industries as a Small Scale Unit shall append a certified copy of Permanent Registration Certificate alongwith "Active Production Certificate".

3. The rates shall be F.O.R. Jammu.

4. The successful tenderers shall have to execute the supply order within a period of 30 days failing which order will be treated as cancelled with forefeiture of Cash Deposit Receipt and supply order will be got executed by the next lowest tenderer on the same terms and conditions at his cost.

5. The tenderer(s) shall have to furnish the samples in duplicate alongwith the tender document.

6. The tender form can be obtained from this Directorate on any working day from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. on cash payment of Rs. 50/- only.

7. The supply shall have to be F.O.R. Store, Jammu strictly as per the samples approved by the Technical Committee to be constituted by the Chairman, State Level Purchase Committee.

8. The payment will be made after the supply is made fully and proper certificates from the Technical Committee and the Inventory of the Store are recorded.

9. The tenderer(s) shall have to deposit tender along with samples personally in this Directorate by or before 29th November, 2004 till 4:00 P.M. and any tender if received beyond this cut off date will not be entertained.

10. Purchase Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any tender without assigning any reasons thereof.
