Applications on prescribed proforma for grant of scholarship at Post Matric Level courses are hereby invited from the students of Jammu Province belonging to SC/ST/OBC and physically Handicapped categories studying out side and with in state. The application forms should be recommended by the Heads of concerned institutions and forwarded through the District Social Welfare Officers. Further the District Social Welfare Officer will forward the application forms to this Directorate after proper scrutiny of the following certificate with their application forms:-

(a) Permanent Residence Certificate.
(b) Caste/category certificate.
(c) Parents/Guardian Income Certificate from concerned Tehsildar in case of students whose parents/guardian are non-govt. employees. In case of employed Parents/guardians salary certificate of concerned Drawing and Disbursing Officer is required along with affidavit that the income from all sources does not exceed the prescribed limit.

Income slab in case of SC/ST student Rs. 65, 290/- Annual Income slab in case of OBC/PH Students is Rs. 44,500/- annual.

(d) Marks certificate (Attested copies by gazetted officer) of the last three years examination passed.

(e) Bonafied Certificate of the concerned institution.

(f) Passport size photographs to be pasted on application forms.

FOR MACHINE JOB FOR POLICE TRANSPORT WORKSHOP JAMMU FOR THE YEAR 2004-2005.

NIT NO. TWO OF 2004 DATED: 06-11-2004

1) Sealed Tenders are invited from the Registered and Reputed Machine Shop owners of Jammu for conducting Machine Job of various types of vehicles as mentioned in the Annexure (A) & (B) exhibiting there in the Terms and Conditions, details of Machine Job to be conducted respectively to the vehicles of Police Department during the year 2004-05. The enclosure will form part of this NIT. The details of other can be had from the office of the u/s.

2) The tender offers alongwith specifications should reach this office on or before 27-11-2004 upto 1430 hours. Tender received after expiry of prescribed date and time i.e. 27-11-2004 upto 1430 hours will not be considered.

3) The tender should be double enveloped, properly sealed and addressed to Superintendent of Police, Police Transport Workshop Channi Himmat Jammu.

4) The tender may be send by registered post or delivered personally in the office of Supdt. of Police, Police Transport Workshop Channi Himmat Jammu.

5) The tenders will be opened on 27-11-2004 in presence of intending tenderers or their authorised representative who may like to attend the tender proceedings.

6) In case of unforeseen circumstances the last date of receipt of opening of tender will be next working day.

10) The tenderer should mention full particulars and address of its show room in tender offer, so that this office could conduct on spot inspection of firm.

11) The Successful tenderer shall have to carry out the Machine Job as and when work orders are placed by Supdt. of Police, Police Transport Workshop Jammu for Jammu Workshop within two days from the receipt of work tender.

12) The Successful tenderer shall have to enter into an agreement and contract shall remain valid from the date of contract.

13) The copies of the Terms, Conditions and Specifications can be had free of cost on any working day during office hours from this office.

5. The tenderer(s) shall have to furnish the samples in duplicate alongwith the tender document.

6. The tender form can be obtained from this Directorate on any working day from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. on cash payment of Rs. 50/- only.

7. The supply shall have to be F.O.R. Store, Jammu strictly as per the samples approved by the Technical Committee to be constituted by the Chairman, State Level Purchase Committee.

8. The payment will be made after the supply is made fully and proper certificates from the Technical Committee and the Inventory of the Store are recorded.

9. The tenderer(s) shall have to deposit tender along with samples personally in this Directorate by or before 29th November, 2004 till 4:00 P.M. and any tender if received beyond this cut off date will not be entertained.

Tender form, terms and conditions of N.I.T. and list of items to be provided against cost for use in various Institutions/Hospitals of the Health and Medical Education Department for the year 2004-05 from the original manufacturers/registered firms/approved suppliers/authorized suppliers or those who are dealing actually in the goods for which tenders are issued, on the terms and conditions which can be had from the following offices:

The rates should be quoted against each item of the tender documents both in figures and in words without cuttings and tamperings.
