Frame fresh seniority list(s)

Sir,

The seniority list(s) of Post Graduate Masters and Teachers of various disciplines - subjects including that of English, Economics, Maths, Education, Sanskit, Sociology, Physics, Chemistry etc was issued one and a half years ago vide various Govt order Nos. in the month of April 2003 by the Administrative Deptt of J&K Education Deptt. Civil Secretariat Srinagar but since then many changes have come as many teachers, masters have been promoted to the posts of lectures in various disciplines but it is quite surprising that the authorities concerned have not consequently changed the S.Nos. of the final seniority list and the promotees names have not been deleted from the list and the list(s) not re ordered. This creates some doubts and confusions among the post graduate masters and teachers of the J&K State because how will a seniority (No. or Nos.) remain un-changed for are and a half years or more when the promotions, retirements etc etc have taken place? We have been experiencing this practice for a long time especially since 1999.

Therefore, it is earnestly requested to the Director School Education Jammu, Director School Education Kashmir and Commr/secy to Govt J&K Education Deptt Civil Sectt Sgr/Jammu to kindly frame fresh final seniority list(s) of all the post graduate masters and teachers of J&K in all the disciplines after deleting the promotees names, making corrigendums (if any), corrections of places of postings and inclusion - entertaining of the further higher qualifications with proper permission etc in the interests of the PG teachers and masters of the State and the same be displayed in open in all the concerned offices for the facility of the teachers and masters of the State.

Solving Kashmir issue

Sir,

I do respect all the leaders of Kashmir but do not understand why they don't get united to find a solution to the Kashmir problem. During this turmoil, we lost our young generation, the generation which might have led us to the sky and might have served the nation well in the field of technology, economy and progress. If on the hand they are saying that they want to solve the problem, on the other hand they blame one another. Despite knowing that such a conflict might bring them ruin only, they keep on fighting with each other.

I hope that common sense prevails among these leaders, so that they may find a solution to Kashmir problem.

Discrimination with educated youth

Sir,

It is really a matter of regret to know that Govt. is playing with the future of the ReT teachers of the state by paying them just Rs. 1500 PM while as the hard core militants who have surrendered before army are given a hefty amount of Rs. 1.5 lakh. Is it not discrimination with the poor talented youths of J&K State who got their degrees after a hard struggle? In other words, is not Govt prompting the youths to take gun in their hands? There is really a wave of anger frustration and mental tension in the minds of youths. Govt. should frame policies in favour of the youth who are losing their faith in this Govt day by day.
