Provided further that no application which is not complete in every respect shall be entertained and/or accepted.

ii. Each candidate will produce a duplicate copy of his/her application, preferably a photostat copy, on which the receipt of the original application and its enclosures will be recorded by the receiving officials.

III. The selection procedure

a) The last date for the receipt of applications as prescribed above shall be the cut-off date for determining the eligibility with the exception of the age limits which will be determined in terms of (b), the qualifications possessed and experience qualifications and experience acquired thereafter shall not be taken into account for any purpose.

b) The selection will be on the basis of the qualifications prescribed in Column No 6 of the ''Statement'' and an interview though, where any other qualification is considered by the Board to be beneficial and directly related to the performance of the job, weightage may be given therefore as per the norms prescribed by the Board. Possession of higher qualifications would by itself not confer any superior claim for short-listing/selection.

c) Where the number of candidates for the post is more than five times the number of vacancies, the Board will restrict the number of candidates for participating further in the process of selection to a number equal to Five times the number of vacancies on the basis of the marks obtained in the prescribed test/qualification and/or additional weightage for any higher or additional qualification where the Board has provided for any such weightage.

d) Ordinarily, the Board will issue call letters for interviews to the eligible candidates in addition to advertising through the Press and / or electronic media specifying the venue and date on which particular candidates will be interviewed. Hence, the candidates, in their own interest, are advised to keep in touch with the local newspapers, radio and TV announcements and the offices of the Board.

e) At the time of the interview, the candidates must produce the original documents, copies of which were attached with the Application Form, before the Selection Committee so that their eligibility for appearing for the interview can be verified. The candidates who fail to produce the relevant original documents at the time of interview will not be allowed to appear for the interview.

f) The Board will not entertain any claim for the non-receipt of call letter by a candidate for any reason whatsoever nor will it be responsible for such a non-receipt of the call-letter.

g) After holding of interviews, the Board will not entertain any enquiry in respect of any candidate's selection or otherwise till selections are finalised and the select lists are published in leading newspapers at Jammu/Srinagar.

h) A candidate found guilty of impersonation or submitting fabricated/tampered documents or making statements which are incorrect/false or suppressing material information may, in addition to rendering him/her liable for criminal prosecution, be debarred, permanently or for a specific period, from being considered for any or all recruitments made by this Board.

i) Canvassing/lobbying in any form will entail disqualification of the candidate concerned.

Terms and Conditions

01- The tenders duly sealed in envelopes shall be received in the Office of Director, Floriculture Deptt., Camp office, Old Sectt, Mubarak Mandi, Jammu through Courier/Speed Post/Registered post/by hand by or before 20-02-2004 upto 2 PM.

02. The tender shall have to be accompanied with call Deposit Receipt of Rs. 10,000/- pledged to Accounts Officer, Floriculture Deptt., J&K with out which the tender (s) shall be rejected.

03. Conditional tender (s) shall not be entertained.

04. The material used for the item should be guaranteed of first class in all respects.

05- The State Level Purchase Committee reserves to right to accept or reject any tender (s) without assigning any reason thereof.

06- The tenders shall be opened by the State Level Purchase Committee of the Department in presence of the tenderers who wish to be present there on 20-02-2004 at 2 PM.

07. Any reference of any Call Deposit receipt which may be pending in the office or has been released for any previous work will not be entertained and such tender shall be totally rejected.

08. Tender document can be had from the office of the undersigned upto 16-02-2004 upto 2 PM against cash payment of Rs. 100/- (Non-Refundable).

09. No tender shall be accepted without tender document duly authenticated/issued by this office.

10. Any typographical error if found in the tender notice shall be corrected accordingly.

11. The successful tenderer shall have to complete the supply and installation/commissioning within a period of (15) days from the date of issue of supply order.

12. The successful tenderer shall have to draw an agreement with the department.
