12 killed in attack on US consulate

DUBAI, Dec 6: Suspected Islamic militants today stormed the heavily fortified US consulate in Saudi port city of Jeddah after exploding a car bomb at its gate and took hostages, triggering a gunbattle which killed 12 people -five non-American staff, three attackers and four Saudi guards. ...........more
