SRINAGAR, Oct 17: Security forces today foiled the militants’ first ever suicidal attack on the official residence of the Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on Maulana Azad Road. While as two BSF soldiers died and 10 others—including an incharge Commandant and three photojournalists—sustained injuries, both the heavily armed militants took shelter in the nearby Dr Ali Jan Shopping Plaza.
