SRINAGAR, Nov 21: The last Friday of the holy month of Ramazan was politically eventful today as the Abbas Ansari faction of Hurriyat Conference declared in unequivocal terms at a massive congregation at Jamia Masjid that it would soon begin talks with the Government of India to seek the ‘lasting solution’ of the vexed Kashmir problem. The second most important venue of the Jumatul Vida was no less significant at Hazratbal as, first time in the last 14 years, Chief Minister of the State participated in the mass prayers.
