Candidate must have exp. of fire & safety in buildings where large numbers of the general public access or transit to the buildings. Suitable areas of exp. will be hospitals, airports, or large public buildings but preference will be given to candidates with previous hospital exp. Candidates must demonstrate exp. in practical fire prevention, staff training & fire risk management. Additional occupational health & safety exp. is necessary. The position is a critical one, the object being to set up & operate a common policy for Fire & Safety across all health care premises in the Sultanate.
