The position is a critical one, the object being to set up & operate a common policy for Fire & Safety across all health care premises in the Sultanate. NOTICE

Non Governmental Organization (NGOs) are playing an important role in the Social and economic Development and are emerging as a credible voice of the Civil Society, many Social Welfare Schemes are envisaged and meant to be implemented by the NGOs. In order to enable the NGOs to actively participate in Social development and supplement the efforts of the Government, it has been decided to comprehensively review the NGO sector in the state. For this purpose the NGO, registered or working in the State are requested to submit the following documents to Director Social Welfare, Government of Jammu and Kashmir by 10th July 2003.

1) Certificate of registration issued by the competent authority.

2) Articles of association/memorandum of association.

3) Annual reports of last three years.

4) Audited Financial statements.

All the NGOs are requested to co-operate with the Government in creating conditions conducive for the involvement of voluntary sector in development.

RRL, Jammu a constituent establishment of CSIR, New Delhi is interested in empanelment of Travel Agents for bookings of Domestic/International Air Tickets from time to time for its employees. Accordingly the travel agents who :-

i) are approved by I.A.T.A.
ii) registered with the Department of Tourism, Govt. of India.
iii) can extend credit facility for a minimum period of 30 days.
iv) book the tickets keeping in view the discounts and incentives being offered by the Airlines at that time.

Terms and conditions :

1 Detailed list of equipment/instrumets/items with complete specifications (Quality/Quantity/Make/Model etc) can be obtained from the offices of the cocnerned Departments/Sections upto 19th July, 2003 against a Bank Draft Payable to Principal, Regional Engineering College, Srinagar or College Cas Receipt for Rs 100/- each. Reference of Demand Draft/College Cash Receipt be given in the tender.

2. An earnest money in the form o Fresh CDR a the rate of 2% of the total value of the items should be attached alongwith the each tender and pledged to Principal, Regional Engineering College, Srinagar. Any previous CDR lying in the college shall not be entertained with these tenders.

3. Terms on Freight, Sales Tax, Excise duty, Insurance, Mode of payment , delivery period etc. should be specified clearly and rates should strictly be quoted on for REC Srinagar basis.

4. The tenderer shall have to produce a documentary proof of having a Registration in the approrpaite stream alongwith the tender and Registration with the Sales Tax Department.

5. Only one tender shall be kept in one envelope and te Department for which the tender is submitted be indicated clearly on the cover of the envelope.

6. Tenders will be received in the office of the Principal, Regional Engineering College, Hazrtabal, Srinagar, Kashmir upto 21st July, 2003. In case the last date happens to be non-working day, the tenders will be accepted in the next college working day.

The CPC of the college reserves he right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason. thereof.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders duly affixed with revenue stamps worth Rs 3/- are invited from the interested tenderers for purchase of Tools & Equipments. These items are to be used in various trades functioning in the ITIs of Jammu Division for the year 2003-04 which should reach to the office of the Undersigned within 30 days from the date of publication of abbreviated tender notice in the Local News papers issued vide this office No. DDJ/Ten/Tools/2003-04/1258-70 dated 28-5-2003 but not later than 5-7-2003. Rates for Tools and Equipments should be quoted FOR Deputy Directorate of Technical Education, Jammu. The tender should be marked as 'Tender for Tools and Equipment' addressed to the Deputy Director, Technical Education Jammu and the last date for submission of tender is 5-7-2003 upto 1.30 PM.

The intending tenderers should quote rate of items strictly as per the tendered specification. Tenders should be accompanied with CDR of Rs 5000/- (Five Thousand) only pledged to the Deputy Director, Technical Education Jammu of any schedule bank without which no tender will be entertained. The rates will remain valid upto 31-03-2004.

The interested parties may participate in person or through their representative on the date of opening of tenders. Tenderers will also be bound to produce catalogues of Tools & Equipments wherever deemed necessary for the approval of rates by the Divisional Level Purchase Committee.

The successful tenderers shall have to execute an agreement with the Government through this office within 15 days after the approved rates are communicate to the firms. Failure of execute such agreement shall not prevent the terms and conditions embodied herein re-tendering and shall be recovered from the firm besides forefeiture of the security deposits.

The successful tenderers shall be bound to supply the items in full and not in parts against the order placed. The tenderers should quote their CST/GST number in their tender form and should quote guarantee/Warantee of their goods in their tenders where necessary while giving rates of such Tools & Equipments items. In case the suppliers fail to supply the ordered Tools & Equipment in full, penalty of 2% of the total cost of the order shall be imposed on the firm.

Rates should be quoted either typed or with ink without any correction/erasing. The tenderers will also be bound to produce nomenclature of Tools & Equipment whereever deemed necessary for approval of rates by the Divisional Level Purchase Committee. The Chairman Purchase Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any tender or part of that without assigning any reason thereof.
