In continuation of the Notification issued by the Director, Centre of Distance Education, University of Kashmir, Srinagar, applications on prescribed forms are invited for admission to B.Ed. Course (through correspondence) for the Session 2004.

Eligibility:

i) Graduation with (10+2+3) pattern only, having passed with minimum 40% marks. The eligible applicants have to appear in the Entrance Test.

ii) Prospectus-cum-Admission Forms shall be available in the Government College of Education, Canal Road, Jammu between 11.00 AM and 3 PM upto 13th December 2003 or till stocks lasts. The Prospectus-cum-application form shall be sold on one to one basis.

iii) The Prospectus-cum-Admission Forms shall be available against the Bank Draft of Rs 300/- drawn in favour of Director, Centre of Distance Education, University of Kashmir, payable at RCC Jammu.

For and on behalf of the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir State sealed tenders affixed with Rs. 5/- Revenue stamp, are invited from the approved contractors/registered agencies/others dealing in serving Diet to inpatients/running of Canteen in Government/Semi Government/private Institutions etc. for supply of Diet/running of Canteen in Hospitals at Srinagar for the year 2003-04, as per the details on Annexure "A" and "B" and terms and conditions given in the tender document to be provided against cost of Rs. 500/- (non-refundable) as application, from the offices of the Principal, Government Medical College, Srinagar and Director , SKIMS, Soura upto 31.12.2003, on any working day.

II) The tenders are to be submitted on the prescribed tender form, contained with the documents. The tender should be submitted in a properly sealed envelop duly superscribed with name and Group XVI-Diet of patients and running of canteen in Kashmir hospitals" addressed to the chairman, Central Purchase committee, Health and Medical Education Department. This tender duly filled and sealed be deposited in the same office where-from the documents have been pruchased, by or before 03.01.2004 upto 1.00 PM against proper receipt or can be sent by Registered post.

III) The tenders shall be opened by the Central Purchase Committee or by an officer (s) duly authorized by the Chairman/Member Secretary CPC on 08.01.2003 at 3.30 PM or any subsequent and convenient date, after tenders are received, in presence of any intending tenderer or his authorized representative, who may be present in the office of the Director SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar.

IV) The intending tenderer (s) shall have to deposit an amount of Rs. 50,000/- as Earnest money in the shape of FDR/CDR issued on any Nationalized/scheduled bank preferably J&K Bank Ltd. having validity of not less than 24 months from the date of issue, pledged to the Member Secreatry, Central Purchase Committee, Health and Medical Education Department. The tender without Earnest money shall be rejected.

V) The rates for carriage be quoted both in words and figures, without cutting and erasures or tampering.

(VI) The tenders received after prescribed time and date will not be entertained.

In partial modification to Board Notification No. 55 BPEE of 2003 dated 22.11.2003 application on plain paper are invited without any restriction of slab of marks from eligible candidates who have appeared in CET-2003 conducted by this Board for admission to Diploma in Pharmacy in Rajiv Gandhi Institute, Narwal, Jammu. Candidates who have appeared in subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Math are eligible to apply. The candidates in their applications should indicate their Roll No. marks obtained and subjects in qualifying examination.
