Candidate should be an Engineering graduate with post-graduation in Business Management from a reputed institute/university. Candidate should be a Post Graduate or a Graduate in Fisheries/Marine Science/Aquaculture with good academic record and with minimum of 8 years experience in Shrimp Farm management. Good working knowledge on P. Monodon (Black Tiger Shrimp is essential in operating semi-intensive shrimp farms of stocking density upto 20 pcs/ml. Preference for candidates who has worked on projects of size 100 ha and above and conversant with latest trends in Shrimp Farming Management.

3. Growout Technicians (4 positions)

Candidates should be holders of Diploma/Bachelors/Master Degree in Fisheries/Marine Science/Aquiculture with around 5 years of experience in independently managing farms of minimum of 30 ha of Biack Tiger Shrimp Ponds of stocking density about 20 pcs/m2.

4. Hatchery Manager

Candidate should be holder of Diploma/Bachelors/Master Degree in Fisheries/Marine Science/Aquaculture with around 8 years of experience in operating Black Tiger Shrimp hatchery in the capacity o Manager to produce a minimum of 50 million Larvae per year. Additional experience in disease diagnosis, use of microbiology and molecular biology kits, Pond raised byoodstock management, etc, is desirable.

5. Hatchery Technicians (6 positions)

Candidates should be holders of Diploma/Bachelors/Master Degree in Fisheries/Madne Science/Aquaculture with around 5 years of experience in hatchery management. Applicants should have adequate knowledge and operated brood stock maturation/Algae and Artemia culture/Larval rearing etc,. of Black Tiger Shrimps.

6. Maintenance Technicians (3 positions)

Candidates should be Diploma holders in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. A minimum of 3-4 years work experience in operation and maintenance of Pumps & Motors and Generators, Ice plants and Machine room, experience is desirable. Preference will be given to candidates with overseas experience having worked with Aquaculturel Irrigation/Power/Fertilizer Projects, etc.

7. Chief Accounts (3positions)

Candidates should be Chartered Accountants with around 5 years of post qualification experience in Aquaculture, Seafood or Dairy industries. Applicants should have exposures to commercial evaluation of business opportunities, high levels of initiative and a proactive approach to problem solving and excellent analytical/communication and interpersonal skills. In the case of Applicants with experience in Aquaculture industry, Project Management skills are essential.

8. International Marketing Manager

Candidate should have a Degree in Marketing Management from a reputed Institute/University with around 5 years of experience in International Marketing of Seafood products, preferably in Europe and USA. Applicants should have excellent communications skills, high levels of initiative and should be a team player.

9. Dairy Plant Engineer

Candidates should be Degree/Diploma holders in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years experience in Design, Installation and maintenance of complete Dairy Plant Equipment including UHT Equipment (Aseptic Technology). Experience in Refrigeration Equipment maintenance is also necessary.

10. Refrigeration Engineers (2 positions)

Experience in Fishing plans, Net preparation, Jigging, long-lifting and allied activities in connection with these fisheries is also required. The candidate a valid Master certificate with endorsements by concerns Maritime authorities.

12. Pock Master

Master Mariner Home Trade with minimum of 5 yeas of experience as Dock Master in a reputed ship repair organisation. Candidates having experience in floating docks preferred. Knowledge of slipway operations will be an added advantage. The candidate should be able to coordinate and manage all activities pertaining to the dock. Preferred age 30-45 years.

13. Off Shore Marine Superintendent

The tender affixed with latch and seal of the firm should be sent either by registered post or delivered personally against proper receipt.

3. The tenders will be opened on 06th September- 2003 at 1100 hours at Telecom Directorate J&K Srinagar in the presence of such tenderers as may chose to be present. In case of any unforeseen/unavoidable circusmtances the tenders will be opened on next working day.

4. The tender documents/list of equipment/accessories/items with their specifications, tentative quantity and terms and conditions can be had from the office of Director Police Telecom J&K Srinagar and SP Telecom Jammu against a payment of Rs 500/- in the shape of demand draft pledged to Director Police Telecom J&K payable at Srinagar.

5. The quantity mentioned in documents is tentative which can vary also without any prior information.

6. The tenders shall be accompanied by earnest money in the shape of CDR/FDR equvalent to 2% of the total value of the contract or Rs 50,000/- in lump sum which ever is less pledged to Director Police Telecom J&K. No Bank guarantee/cheque/deposit conformation advice will be accepted. Failure to furnish earnest money alongwith the tender will straight away disqualify the tender offer.

7. The earnest money will be refunded to the unsuccessful tenderers within one month after the acceptance of the contract.

8. Warranty wherever necessary should be given alongwith Make, Model, Pattern and Size of the item quoted for. The firm shall have to give live demonstration/sample as and when required/asked for by the department.

9. The rates should be quoted FOR destination i.e Central Stores Police Telecom Distt Police Lines, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu inclusive of all taxes/duties, freight/insurance charges, State entry tax etc and shall remain valid upto ending June-2004.

10. No conditional tender shall be accepted/entertained other than those mentioned in our terms and conditions.

11. The tenderers shall mention in their tender offer the validity of rates upto 30.6.2004. The successful tenderers shall have to enter into an agreement with the department and the contract shall remain valid upto ending June-2004.

12. The tenders shall furnish a copy of income tax and sales tax clearance certificate with the tender offer for the year 2003-04.

13. No escalation of rates will be allowed during the period of rate validity i.e upto 30.6.2004. The successful tenderers shall have to make the supplies within stipulated period as mentioned in the supply order, faiure if any, in supply of ordered goods shall render him/liable for action under the terms and conditions set-forth for due performance of contract.
