Rewriting
Indian History
Sir,
Please
refer to the article Joshis
bid to rewrite Indian history
Excelsior dated August 9, 2003. I want to
remind learned columnist that there are
several research teams, medicos from
Tropical Institutes London working in
India learning the secrets of Ojhas. Is
it necessary that only foreigners should
come to take a lid off from such things
and we as western educated people go on
laughing over such things.
I met
recently Dr Karmikar, a doctor at
Ahmednagar Maharashtra who developed
problem in vocal chord and faced serious
problem. He visited several medical
institutions but could get no relief. One
Swamiji initiated him into recitation of
Omkar as a therapy and over period of six
months he was relieved of the problem.
The said doctor then left his medical
practice and has taken full time courses
of Omkar therapy and he has clients all
along the globe and he has full fledged
training center in Ahmednagar, Pune,
Mumbai to teach this therapy.
The time
has come when we should open our eyes to
all these ancient pages of history Mr.
Mehta of Kerala lives on solar energy
without any food for last 8 years can be
experimented in NASA but is a matter of
ridicule for so called Indian
intellectual. Be it history, science,
language, ancient medicine practices
there is need for research in all these
subjects or else we will have to learn
them through westerners.

Discrimination
with Jammu
Sir,
The news
item Data Reveals by Mr Gopal
Sharma in your esteemed daily dated 13th
August 2003, has once again brought into
the focus the discrimination meted out to
the people of Jammu in such a brazen
manner. All the mainstream political
parties accept that there has been
tremendous discrimination against the
people of Jammu by the ruling clique of
Kashmir. But still they only talk of the
aspirations of the people of Kashmir.
What to say about the role of coalition
partners Congress and Panthers?
Have they any answer to give to the
people of Jammu? This is high time that
the Jammuites feel that they have again
been cheated by these parties who
garnered main support from Jammu in the
previous elections on the slogan of
providing justice to Jammu.
Three
commissions Gajendergadkar Commission in
1967, Sikri Commission in 1979 and Wazir
Commission in 1980 came into being to
deliberate upon the issue of
discrimination towards the people of
Jammu. But these parties have failed to
implement the recommendations of these
above said commissions.
Centre and
State Governments have to read the
writings on the walls and have to act
accordingly before the situation takes an
ugly turn.
Yours
etc........
