SRINAGAR, Aug 2: While as Minister for Rural Development, Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed, today ordered attachment of Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Srinagar, Mir Fayaz Hussain, in the matter of the fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 7 Lakh from a Government account, the investigation has been assigned to Vigilance Organisation Kashmir (VOK). The accused official was immediately arrested by a team of VOK sleuths. Meanwhile, Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) has quickly detained an Assistant Accounts Officer (AAO) in the wake of reports that the money withdrawn from the account has reached a group of unidentified militants.............more
