An Appeal to Pensioners

An appeal was issued to the pensioners vide No. DAT/PS/92 dated 28.12.2002 for making it convenient to present themselves before the Treasury Officers concerned for purposes of verification and indentification as per the requirements laid donw in the relevant provisions of Treasury Code. They were also requested to bring along duly filled up form to facilitate quick verification. Detailed circular instructions were also issued to the Treasury Officers as also to the concerned bank branches laying down procedure for expeditious process of verification. In order to obviate inconvenience to the pensioners especially old, infirm and female pensioner not accustomed to appearance in public, the Treasury Officers were asked to receive duly filled up forms through any person on behalf of the pensioners requesting to entertain the form owing to the reasons indicated in the application. The pensioners who had migrated from the valley and drawing their pension from various treasuries/bank branches of Jammu division or Treasury New Delhi were requested to present their duly filled up forms to the nearest treasury of Jammu or Treasury New Delhi rather than the concerned treasury in the valley wherefrom the original pension was drawn by them.

The State Government is thankful to the pensioners for extending cooperation and help in the process of verification and accomplishment of the task. However, it has been observed that some pensioners have not still come forward for the purpose despite an appeal made vide No. DAT/PS/120 dated 13.03.2003 which appeared in the Press as well. Pensioners who have not presented themselves for verification upto 14.04.2003 are once again requested to come forward for completing the process of verification. In the event they do not come forward upto 15th May, 2003 all such unverified PPOs shall be cancelled and appropriate action as warranted under rules shall be taken. It is as such, in their interest to extend cooperation so that pension in future is paid without causing any inconvenience to them.

98% payment shall be released within 30 days from the date of receipt of each consignment and balance 2% shall be retained as security which shall be released after the successful completion of the contract. Sample/quality of Hard Coke to be supplied can be seen in our stores at Zainakote Srinagar.

The successful tenderers shall have to enter into a agreement with SICOP and the conditions of the tender notice shall form part of agreement. No conditional tender shall be accepted.

The rates to be quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes/toll tax/levies FOR our stores at Zainakote and ex-godown of the supplier (if in Srinagar)

The SICOP shall be at liberty to enter into an agreement with one or more parties for the purchase of hard coke.

Managing Director, SICOP reserves the right to accept or reject any tender or all tenders in part OR full without assigning any reason thereof. Tenders without earnest money shall be out rightly rejected.

Quotations

Sealed quotations are invited for and on behalf of the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir State from the authorised distributors or dealers for the supply of Spiral Binding machine. The quotations should reach this office within 21 days from the date of publication of this notice in Govt. Gazette/Newspaper on the following terms and conditions:-

1. That the quotations should be submitted in the sealed cover superscribed as "Tender for supply of Spiral Binding machine'' addressed to the Chief Town Planner, Town Planning Organisation, Jammu.

2. Quotations should be clearly typed or written in ink without any over-writing, erasures and mutilations.

3. Quotations should be affixed with Rs. 2/- Revenue stamp.

4. The prices quoted should include all taxes except the sales tax which shall be paid against form 'D' as applicable for Govt. departments.

5. The Spiral Binding machine should be convered under warranty for a period of 12 months from the date of installation.

6. The successful tenderers shall be bound to make the delivery of the items within 10 days from the date of receipt of supply order.

7. Full payment of supply shall be made after the successful installation of Spiral binding machine in this office as per supply order.

8. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any tender/tenders in part or as a whole without assigning any reason thereof.
