JAMMU, Dec 24: A Pakistani terrorist of Al-Badr outfit, who was arrested alongwith a female associate by the City police from a hotel at General Bus Stand yesterday, has turned out to be a prize catch. His sustained interrogation by Jammu and Rajouri police today led to the arrest of a DySP’s brother and Personal Security Officer (PSO) of a National Conference legislator besides six other persons including two young girls, who were stated to be involved in the recent spate of grenade explosions in Rajouri town.............more

RAJOURI/UDHAMPUR, Dec 24: Sixteen persons were injured in yet another explosion—the third during last nine days— in the town this afternoon while two terrorists, two Village Defence Committee (VDC) members and two civilians were killed in separate incidents in Rajouri and Udhampur districts overnight. There was no end to the terrorists’ crime against the fair sex as out of four civilian victims, one was a woman. Besides, two women were critically wounded......more
