The appointment of House Officers will be on tenure basis for a period of one year duration and will be subject to the following terms and conditions:-

1. The House Officers will be whole timer and will be Non-Practicing,

2. During their tenure as House Officer, they will be subject to the Rule of Conduct & Discipline like other Doctors who are the members of regular establishment.

3. During tenure of House Officers, they shall not be entitled to any kind of leave except casual leave for fifteen days. The house officers availing excess of leave during the period of House Job shall have to repeat the same in his/her own interest without any stipend after obtaining prior permission from the Principal, Govt. Medical College, Jammu.

4. The House Officers will receive a consolidated stipend (equal to the salary of Assistant Surgeons at the start + D.A) for the period of one year only.

5. The services of the 4 House Officers shall be terminated by the Principal, Govt.Medical College Jammu, without prior notice as and when their work land conduct is reported to be unsatisfactory by the Head of the Department or any officer with whom they are working,

6. The House Officers will have to refund the stipend received by them in one installment in case they leave House Job before its completion.

7. No House Officer will be paid stipend in case he/she fails to produce permanent registration from the State Dental Council within one month from the date of expiry of the provisional registration,

8. The stipend for one month will be kept with held and will be paid only after successful completion of full tenure of House Job.
