Wattal distributes sweets among Madrasa students, others

JAMMU, Oct 22: Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Kiran Wattal visited Gujjar Nagar Madrasa and distributed sweets and biscuits among poor and needy students who are studying Islamic education in this Madrasa.
Commissioner also went to Kusht Ashram in Bhagwati Nagar area and distributed namkeen items and biscuits. He further moved to Mother Tesera Charitable Trust, Tali Morh, Janipur, where he also distributed sweets and namkeen.
Wattal also visited Home for Old Age and Charitable Ashram, Ambphalla, Jammu where he distributed refreshments. Then he went to Bal Niketan Ashram and distributed namkeen and biscuits to children.
Earlier, a function was held at Town Hall Complex of JMC which was presided over by Commissioner, JMC Kiran Wattal. Joint Commissioner (A), JMC, Kapil Sharma, Chief Accounts Officer, JMC, Health Officer, JMC, Municipal Veterinary Officer, JMC and other officials of JMC were also present.
The function was organized to deliver orders among the safaikaramcharies who have been enrolled from NGO labour to casual labour of JMC after following proper formalities as per rules.
Rinku Gill, President, Civic Safaikaramchari Union, JMC and his associates assured that they will work under the administrative control of Commissioner, JMC to make the Jammu neat and clean.
