JAMMU, June 29: Water supply in almost all areas of Jammu City falling on left and right side of river Tawi will remain partially affected on June 30 due to power failure/interruptions of electric feeders following rains and unprecedented winds today.
Further because of overflowing of Nallah adjoining PHE pumping station laboratory, supply to Maheshpura area, part of Bakshi Nagar shall also be affected in particular for 48 to 72 hours.
This was stated by PHE Superintending Engineer Sunil Gupta. He advised the people to use water judiciously.
