Warm send off accorded to retiring officers, officials

JAMMU, Dec 30: Warm send off has been accorded to the retiring officers and officials.
On attaining age of superannuation, Director ERA Jammu Ravinder Gupta was given a grand and warm send off by employees of ERA in a function organised here today. Officers and other staff of J&K ERA were present on the occasion and wished the retiring Chief Engineer a happy and prosperous future life. Ravinder Gupta joined services in R&B Department as Junior Engineer in year 1978 and worked in all districts of Jammu province and also served in far flung area of Kargil district in Zanskar. He served in various capacities with more than 39 years of service. He served as Director Jammu ERA for one year and prior to that he was Project Manager Transport ERA Jammu.
Jammu University Non-Teaching Employees Union (JUNTEU) accorded a warm send off to Sarita Arora, Section Officer, Yash Pal, Section Officer and Chaman Lal, Head Assistant, who retired after attaining age of superannuation today. The farewell was held in appreciation of their services rendered to the institution. The function was attended by many employees of the University. Among others present were Pawan Singh, President, Ashwani Bakshi, Vice President, Sham Sharma, General Secretary, Sanjeev Chadha, Joint Secretary, Vikas Langer, Organizing Secretary, Abhinav Sharma, Treasurer, etc.
Assistant Director, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Department Samba namely Nazir Ahmed Shah has attained superannuation today after completion of 41 years service in the department. Staff of FCS&CA Department Samba has organised a farewell party to accorded warm send off to the retiring officer.
Lecturer in Urdu Brij Mohan and senior teacher Sachi Rani of Government Middle School, attached with DIET Reasi have attained the superannuation from DIET Reasi after rendering 37 and 33 years of services respectively in the Education Department. A farewell party was organised by staff of DIET Reasi to accord warm send off to the retiring officials.
