Warm send off accorded to retiring officers

JAMMU, Feb 28: Warm send off has been accorded to the retiring officers.
A warm farewell function was organized in the honour of Vijay Kumar, DIG Armed/ IR Jammu, who retired on superannuation from J&K Police after rendering 26 years long un-blemished service in the department by the officers and staff members of Armed Police Headquarters J&K, Zonal Armed Police Headquarter Jammu and Armed/IR Range offices Jammu. Danesh Rana IGP Armed/ IR Jammu, senior police officers including Staff Officer to ADGP Armed J&K MY Kichloo, Staff Officer to IGP AP/IR Jammu Jeetan Ji Mattoo and Commandants of Jammu Based AP/IR Battalions were present on the occasion.
On attaining the age of superannuation, Director School Education, Jammu Ravinder Singh and Gurbachan Lal, Chief Education Officer were given a grand and warm send off by officers and staff of Directorate of School Education Jammu in a function organised here today. Officers and other staff of School Education were present on the occasion and wished the retiring Director and CEO a happy and prosperous future life. Both the officers worked with utmost dedication and honesty during his service career in different levels. The House offered best wishes for post-retirement life of the employee.
A warm send off has been accorded to Usha Bhat, Zonal Physical Education Officer, Chenani on her superannuation after rendering services of more than 39 years in the Department of Youth Services and Sports. The function was organised by the District Officer, Youth Services and Sports Udhampur and attended by all the ZPEOs and other staff members. A warm send off was also accorded to her by the field staff of Zonal Physical Education Chenani.
A farewell was organised in Directorate of Animal Husbandry Jammu in honour of KK Bhardwaj on his superannuation as Director of the Animal Husbandry Department Jammu, after rendering 37 years of dedicated services in the department in various capacities.
A warm send off has been accorded to Bachitar Singh, JE (Mech) RTIC Jammu on attaining superannuation after rendering services for more than 37 years in the various Engineering Departments. The function was organised by Pankaj Bhalla, Xen RTIC (Mech) Division Jammu and attended by all the employees of RTIC (Mech) Division Jammu and RTIC (Mech) Division Kathua. A warm send off was also accorded to Bachitar Singh by Sub Divisional field staff Jammu.
Directorate of Horticulture Jammu accorded warm and affectionate farewell to Surinder Kumar Shair Horticulture Information and Publicity Officer, Jammu in an impressive function held under the chairpersonship of Director Horticulture Jammu Anuradha Gupta. Department of Horticulture honored him with letter of appreciation in recognition of his services in the department.
A farewell function was organised by Police Headquarter to bid a warm send off to Inspector Ali Mohammad Baba, (Cashier PHQ). The function was attended by senior police officers and staff members and was chaired by DGP Dr SP Vaid. Special DG PHQ, VK Singh, IGPs Jagjit Kumar, JP Singh, SK Gupta and Ashkoor Ahmad Wani and other officers were also present on the occasion.
A function was organized at IRP-16th Battalion Ramban to bid a warm farewell to SI Abdul Rashid, who attained superannuation after completion of more than 37 years of service. AK Mahajan, SSP, CO IRP 16th Battalion, officers and jawans of IRP 16th Battalion and guests of the retiring officer.
Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) today bid affectionate adieu to Desh Kumar, Music Composer of the Department’s Cultural Wing who retired on superannuation after rendered 42 years of his service. A function was organized by the DIPR’s Cultural wing under the guidance of Cultural Officer, Raman Joshi at the Forest Information Centre. Director Information, Muneer-ul-Islam, Joint Director Information Jammu, Naresh Kumar, Joint Director Information (Headquarters), Saajid Yehaya Naqash, Deputy Director Information PR Sheikh Zahoor-ul-Haq, Deputy Director Information Audio Visual Rakesh Dubey and other senior officers and officials of DIPR besides family members and friends of Desh Kumar were present on the occasion. The artists of the department presented a fascinating cultural programme. A token of love was also presented to Desh Kumar by the employees of DIPR.
State Vigilance Organization bid farewell to Mohammad Shafi, Senior Stenographer at the Vigilance Organization Headquarters on his superannuation from service. He served the Organization for more than 35 years in various capacities. Director of Prosecution Vigilance Organization applauded his contribution to the Organization and also congratulated him on completing the active services with dignity.
MS Jamwal, Agriculture Economist, Jammu, Vinod Dhar Chief Agriculture Officer, JP Verma, Head Draftsman, I&P, Sudesh Kumari, SO, SLUB and Ramesh Kumar, Chauffeur were accorded warm and affectionate farewell by Department of Agriculture on their retirement after rendering 35 to 41 years of service. Bulesh Zutshi, Joint Director, SLUB, Jammu, KS Sambyal, Joint Director of Agriculture (Inputs), RL Bhagat, Joint Director of Agriculture (Extension) and other officers of the department were present on the occasion. Mementoes were presented to the retirees during the farewell programme on behalf of the Department as a mark of honor and affection.
Town Planning Organization Jammu accorded warm send off to Joginder Singh, Chief Town Planner on attaining superannuation after rendering 32 years of services. DK Attri, Executive Engineer, Rajeev Abrol and Surjeet Singh, Town Planners and other officers of the department were present on the occasion.
Security Jammu accorded a warm send off to Bharat Bhushan, Assistant Sub Inspector of J&K Police Department, who retired after attaining age of superannuation. The farewell was held in Security Lines Jammu. The function was presided over by SSP Security Jammu Ashok Kumar Sharma, who presented a cheque as retirement gift on behalf of staff of security Jammu to Bharat Bhushan. Among others Sandeep Mehta, Additional SP Security Jammu was also present on the occasion.
A function was organised by All Jammu and Kashmir Electric Department Linemen and Workers Union to bid farewell to Vijay Kumar Gupta, Meter Reader on attaining superannuation after rendering 37 years service. The function was held under the chairmanship of Tara Chand.
