JAMMU, Dec 14: Shortlisted Warden candidates, who have been on hunger strike for 13 days at Press Club here, against the delay in release of the final selection list, today staged half nude demonstration tying white shroud around their heads.
The protesting candidates said they would not let up their struggle until their demands are conceded. Amid slogans, the protestors including those on hunger strike, demanded early release of the final selection list, which was pending for last more than three years due to unknown reasons.
The protestors warned the Government not to test their patience and release final selection list as soon as possible.
They urged the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to personally look into the matter for getting the selection list released.
