JAMMU, Dec 1: On their attaining age of superannuation, warm send off was accorded to a officer and official by their colleagues, seniors and juniors.
Joint Director Animal Husbandry, Dr RL Bhat was given a tumultuous farewell on attaining his age of superannuation on November 30.
In this connection the farewell ceremony was held at Beli Charana near here in which Minister of State for Animal Husbandry, ZA Mir, Director AH Department, Dr KK Bhardwaj and other officers of the department participated.
Dr Bhat during his long career held the posts of Incharge Sample Survey of Kathua, Livestock Development Officer, Kathua, Manager Poultry Production, Jammu Division, Superintendent Sub Divisional Veterinary Hospital, R S Pura and Joint Director Poultry Jammu.
The officers and officials present in the function highlighted the services rendered by him to the department and also wished him a happy post retirement life.
A warm send off was accorded to Raj Kumari, senior teacher, Government Middle School Dholian, Zone Purmandal, district Samba on attaining superannuation.
She worked for thirty two years in different middle and high schools of Arnia, Miran Sahib, Gandhi Nagar, Bishnah, Vijaypur and Purmandal Zones.
ZEO Purmandal Zareena Sheikh, her staff and whole staff of GMS Dholian conveyed their best wished to the retiree.
