‘Wall of Truth’ to become memorial in Delhi: Wazir

JAMMU, July 11: Former president, State Gurdwara Parbandhak Board  and Chairman of Sikh United Front, Sudershan Singh Wazir today said that the ‘Wall of Truth’ the memorial having names of victims of the massacre of Sikhs in November 1984 at Gurdwara Raqab Ganj Sahib near Indian Parliament Delhi will now become memorial for the Sikh community.
In an emergency meeting of various Sikh organizations J&K was held under the chairmanship of  S S Wazir,  where in he disclosed that  Delhi Sikh  Gurdwara Managing Committee, president Manjit Singh GK has announced that the “Wall of Truth” the memorial having names of victims of the massacre of Sikhs in November 1984 at Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib near Indian Parliament, will now become a memorial for all the Sikhs killed in hate crimes across the globe.
Manjit Singh GK announced that not only this,  the names of the Sikhs recently killed in Afghanistan in a targeted blast would also be engraved in the memorial. He said the DGPC Delhi chief specially mentioned that names of 35 Sikhs  killed in Chatti Singh Pura and Mehjoor Nagar in Kashmir in March 2000  and Sikhs killed in Jammu will also be displayed on the ‘Wall of Truth’.
Wazir said all these Sikhs were killed due to their Sikh identity. While engraving names of those killed  due to their Sikh identity in the past incidents would ensure that to make ‘Wall of Truth’ a memorial for all those Sikhs across the globe due their Sikh identity. He extended gratitude to Manjit Singh GK on behalf of whole Sikh community of J&K.
Prominent among those present in the meeting included Mohinder Singh,  Paramjeet Singh, Surinder  Singh Kala, Gajan Singh, Darbhinder Singh, Raja Singh, Paramjeet Singh Raina, Rajinder Singh, Surjeet Singh,   Harpreet Singh,  Kulwant Singh,  Kuldeep Singh Malik,  Ravinder Singh  and  Tejpal Singh.
