JAMMU, Feb 7: The Centre Government has cleared extension of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary BB Vyas for another period of three months.
Vyas, whose three month extension was due to expire on February 28, will now have services up to May 31.
The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) cleared the extension of Vyas vide communication No. 26014/01/2017-AIS (II) dated 6.2.2018.
The formal extension order was issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) today.
Excelsior had exclusively reported recently that Vyas was likely to get further extension in services for three months, which had been recommended by the State Government.
