Vote Congress for prosperity, development in J&K: Bhalla

Jammu, Oct 30: Senior Congress leader and Minister for Culture, Horticulture and Housing Raman Bhalla assured the people that if his party is voted to power again, a new phase of development will be started in the Gandhi Nagar constituency as the party gives the priority to the prosperity and development of the State.
Addressing largely attending public gatherings at village Khwaska area of Panchayat Dharap and Village Langar at Greater Kailash in Gandhi Nagar constituency, Minister said that Congress is committed to the equitable development of all three regions of J&K and in the forthcoming Assembly elections, Congress would emerge winner with thumping majority to form the next Government in the State to serve the people.
The public meeting at Village Khwaska was organized by Sarpanch Kashmir Singh and Lambardar Rajinder Kumar,Nab Sarpanch Basant Kumar, Bushan Kumar and Sawarn Kumar while as in village Langar, Greater Kailash, the public meeting was organized by Ex-Corporator Narinder Singh.
“Congress always stood for the welfare and upliftment of common masses and fought for their legitimate rights”, he said, adding that BJP is exploiting the poor people and down trodden sections of the society by showing them such dreams, which they cannot fulfill.
He termed PDP and BJP as dream sellers and hollow slogan mongers as the leaders of these parties just appear during electioneering and after elections, disappear.
Minister apprised the people about the developmental works carried out by the Congress party during the last six years. He said that the educational infrastructure, power and water infrastructure, road connectivity, health infrastructure, sports infrastructure, etc in every area falling under the jurisdiction of Gandhi Nagar constituency have witnessed large scale changes, which the people can experience of their own.
“For promotion of tourism in the State, LED lights worth Rs 1 crore were installed at Bahu Fort and no doubt J&K particularly Jammu is witnessing the heavy inflow of tourists and people to this sacred shrine of Kali Mata”, he added.
“In Gandhi Nagar constituency, there were only two Higher Secondary Schools before I became MLA by getting the mandate of the people and presently the constituency is having around 15 Higher Secondary Schools, which catering to the needs of thousands of students at their doorsteps. All this happened due to the positive approach, sincerity and dedication of the Congress party towards the people”, Minister asserted.
Seeking vote for Congress party, Bhalla asked the people to make best use of their vote in the forthcoming Assembly elections to elect honest, dedicated and people friendly representative.
