JAMMU, Jan 9: Vigilance Organization Jammu has presented challan in the court of Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu against Raiz Ahmed, the then Patwari Halqa Hakkal, Satwari, Subash Chander Sharma, the then Naib Tehsildar, (now retired) and private person Vijay Kumar, son of Yash Paul of Beli Charana.
According to the challan, during verification conducted by Vigilance Organization, Jammu it came to the fore that Raiz Ahmed, the then Patwari Halqa Hakkal created non-existent Khasra measuring 25 kanals at village Surya Chak adjoining existing Khasra in the original record of Nakal Khasra Paimash to confer undue benefit to Vijay Kumar.
In furtherance of the conspiracy, Riaz Ahmed, in connivance with Subash Chander, the then Naib Tehsildar, Record Room, Jammu and others changed the Khasra Girdawari of State land measuring 25 kanals at village Chack Surya in the records. The Patwari also entered Girdawari in favour of beneficiary for land measuring 25 kanals in Khasra No.1 of village Chak Surya of the State land.
In this way, Riaz Ahmed by abuse of his official position and in conspiracy with Vijay Kumar and others manipulated the revenue record of Khasra No.1 & 35 of village Daulat Chak for conferring undue benefit upon Vijay Kumar.
