Voice of Dogras countering anti-India propaganda abroad: Manu Khajuria

JAMMU, Nov 23: To frustrate evil designs of pro-separatist groups and counter their anti-India propaganda, Voice of Dogras (VoD) has joined hands with nationalist NRIs and a series of programmes are being organized in this regard all over the world, particularly in United Kingdom.
“For the first time since 1947, nationalist groups joined hands to counter the separatist lobby in the United Kingdom (UK) on October 26, marking 68 years of signing of the instrument of accession”, said Manu Khajuria Singh, founder of the Voice of Dogras, while interacting with media persons during an interaction, organized by the Press Club of Jammu, here today.
While elaborating, she informed that a seminar was successfully organized in the British Parliament on the situation in Jammu and Kashmir and the historical validity of the accession.  “Documentary films and an exhibition of the Dogra rule were highlights of the event, which was attended by British lawmakers, including MP Bob Blackman,” she said and added that their initiative yielded very encouraging results as Conservative as well as Labour Party MPs witnessed the function which was a good beginning.
Claiming that their initiative effectively exposed malicious propaganda by the anti-India lobby in the UK, Manu Khajuria Singh said that VoD has changed some narratives because first time numbers of peoples were informed about false campaign of anti-India groups.
Giving details about her organization, she said that VoD is a Non-Profit Organization. “It is an attempt to bring back the lost narrative of the Dogra community of Jammu region, who have an unparalleled history albeit now obscure and therefore little recognized both nationally and locally,” she said and added that their aim is to work for the empowerment of the Dogras.
On the occasion, Manu Khajuria Singh also introduced core team of her group, who included Pranab Sharma, Kunal Sharma and Ankita Baru.
President, Press Club of Jammu, Ashwani Kumar, secretary general Zorawar Singh, Treasurer Dinesh Manhotra and PCJ executive members were also present on the occasion.
