VLW suspended, 3 RDD workers removed from job

RAJOURI, Sept 27: Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Rajouri, today suspended a Village Level Worker of Palangar block in Thannamandi Sub Division,  who was caught red handed by Vigilance team while accepting bribe on Tuesday and removed three other temporary workers from the services after they were arrested by police along with some drugs two days ago.
Official sources said that VLW Mohd Farooq, posted in BDO office Palangar was today placed under suspension by ACD Rajouri, Noor Alam  after he was booked by Vigilance organization in an FIR No. 37/ 2017. Farooq was trapped  and arrested while he was accepting Rs 10,000 bribe from a contractor, Irfan Mirza hailing from Bathian  in Thannamandi area on Tuesday near his office at Palangar.
The ACD also disengaged two Data Entry Operators (DEO) and a Gram Rozgar Sevak (GRS) of Palangar block today. They had been arrested by police along with some banned drugs, a few days ago in Rajouri area.
They were identified as Tauqeer Razak, son of Mohd Razak (GRS), resident Kot Behrote;  Tahir Hussain Shah (DEO), son of Faqir Hussain Shah from Kalaban, Rajouri  and  Ajaz-ul-Haq (DEO), son of Mohd Amin Mirza, resident of Rajouri town. They had been working as contractual employees in Palangar block of  Rural Development Department.
