Villagers protest for arrest of main accused in murder case

UDHAMPUR, Apr 20: Villagers and family members of deceased Talib Hussain, who was found murdered on March 28, 2017 at Devi Pindi, about 30km from Udhampur, today held a protest demonstration for free and fare investigation into the case and arrest of main accused.
Talib Hussain of village Yaba, was found dead at village Bakaria in Devi Pindi, under the jurisdiction of Katra Police Station and a couple along with their son was arrested for allegedly committing the crime.
The protesting family members of deceased Talib Hussain alleged that Police was not arresting the main accused, who was moving openly.   Nababi Bibi, 55 years old mother of the deceased, alleged the accused were allegedly threatening them while Mohammad Salim, younger brother of Talib Hussain,   claimed that his deceased brother was robbed off before being killed.
The protesting people appealed the higher Police authorities to look into the matter and ensure arrest of main accused. Later, the protesters also submitted a memorandum to the DIG Udhampur- Reasi Range, Varinder Sharma in his office chamber.
