Villager injured in leopard attack

RAJOURI, Nov 17: A villager was injured after he was attacked by a leopard at village Falni in remote Budhal area today.
The police said mishap took place during wee hours when middle aged Kikar Singh, son of Binder Singh, resident of  village Falni was going to his fields.  Suddenly, a leopard ambushed the villager and caused multiple injuries. The  brave villager grappled with the wild beast and fought with him. He made the leopard to escape to nearby forest. With severe injuries  he was moved to Budhal hospital by the family, where Medical staff after providing  preliminary treatment, referred him to District Hospital, Rajouri.
