Vikramaditya exhorts youth to strengthen Mufti’s hands

SLEHAR (R S PURA), Aug 19: Exhorting youth of Jammu to become part of the campaign for change in the State, Yuvraj Vikramaditya Singh today said that PDP under the leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed is committed to establish a new system of justice and equality in J&K.
“Mufti Mohammad Sayeed during his tenure, from 2002 to 2005, as Chief Minister of State had proved how to treat all regions equally”, Vikramaditya said while addressing an impressive public meeting in this border village in support of PDP candidate Bhushan Dogra.
“Mufti Mohammad Sayeed as Chief Minister had carved out a path of equitable and balanced development in the State”, said Vikramaditya and reminded that special focus was given to the neglected and backward areas of Jammu region.
Terming Mufti Mohammad Sayeed as a statesman and visionary leader, Vikramaditya, the elder son of Dr Karan Singh, called upon the people of Jammu region to strengthen hands of PDP patron to change destiny of the residents of Jammu and Kashmir.
“PDP has a visionary agenda to address grievances of all regions, sub-regions and every section of the society”, he said and pointed out that policies and programmes of PDP were formulated by incorporating wishes and aspirations of all sections of the society.
“I joined this party only due to the visionary policies and credibility of the leadership of PDP”, he said and added that time and again, PDP leaders have proved themselves as trusted and credible representatives of the people of all the three regions of the State.
Emphasizing on the youth to come forward to take campaign for change to its logical conclusion, he assured that PDP would formulate an exclusive agenda to address problems of unemployed youth. “We are aware of the problems of youth of the State”, he said and assured that a comprehensive policy would be formulated to create job avenues for the youth to solve problem of unemployment. he added.
