Vigilance Awareness Week commences

JAMMU, Oct 30: Week long Vigilance Awareness Week on the theme ‘My Vision Corruption Free India” commenced today.
Vigilance Awareness Week by BSNL started today with administration of integrity pledge to all employees by CGM, BSNL, J&K Circle HK Verma at BSNL Circle Office, North Block Bahu Plaza. On the occasion SK Koul, General Manager (Admn), MS Yadav, General Manager (CM) J&K Circle and Jeet Raj Kalsi, Vigilance Officer BSNL J&K Circle, were also present.
Vigilance Awareness Week by BSF Jammu Frontier commenced today. On the occasion, Ram Awtar, IG BSF emphasized the need to educate all sections of society about malevolence impact of corruption on national development. Pledge taking ceremony was held and attended by around 500 bordermen.
SSP JKPS PTTI Vijaypur Ashok Kumar inaugurated the Vigilance Awareness Week at Principal Police Technical Training Institute Vijaypur and delivered lecture and gave powerpoint presentation to the staff and trainees of Section-A of  BRTC batch. Among others present were Savita Parihar, SSP Vice Principal PTTI Vijaypur, Ram Singh Jamwal DySP R&D, Karanjit Singh DySP Outdoor, Rakesh Sambyal DySP Indoor, PP Singh Senior Prosecuting Officer, Inspector Rakesh Kataria, Inspector Hemanshu Mahajan and Inspector Khushwant Singh.
Chenab Valley Power Projects (P) Limited, a joint venture of NHPC Limited, JKSPDC Limited and PTC India Limited is observing Vigilance Awareness Week. The inaugural function was held by CVPP Corporate Office Jammu, which was attended by MS Babu, Managing Director, CVPP and other officers of the company. On the occasion, pledge was administered to the employees by MD, CVPP.
The employees of Government College of Education (GCoE) Jammu took integrity pledge under the theme of ‘My Vision-Corruption Free India’ as part of Vigilance Awareness Week, which is being observed every year from 30th October to 4th November. The programme was organized by College’s National Service Scheme (NSS) unit under the supervision of programme officer Prof Sunita Devi. Later, an integrity pledge was taken by all teaching and non teaching staff of the college.
Government Degree College, Samba inaugurated the Vigilance Awareness Week. In this connection, all the employees of this college took the pledge in favour of uprooting the corruption from the society and making India corruption free. Incharge Principal Prof Ashok Bhagat of the college enlightened the employees about the evil effects of corruption on society and laid emphasis for fighting together against corruption.
Jammu Sanskriti School, Kathua celebrated the Vigilance Awareness Week. Principal Shuchita Gupta along with her entire team and students took integrity pledge during morning assembly and also said to promote integrity and transparency and always commit to highest standard of honesty all times.
