KATHUA, Dec 20: Vidhya Jain Academy Delhi and Vicky XI Pathankot registered convincing victories over their rivals to enter into the next round of the 7th Police Martyrs Memorial North Zone Inter Club T20 Cricket Championship, being played at Sports Stadium, here .
In the 7th   match, Vidhya Jain Academy Delhi  won the toss and choose  to bowl first.
Batting first, Balaji Cricket Club Kurushetra scored 83 runs by losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. Ricky scored 15   runs in 10 balls and was the top scorer. Shivam of Vidhya Jain Academy Delhi was the main successful bowler,  who took  5 wickets by conceding 20 runs.   Vidhya Jain Academy Delhi  easily chased the  target  by losing 2 wickets in 6 overs, thus won the match by 8 wickets. Shivam was the top scorer who scored 51 runs in 15   balls with the help of 4 sixes and 5 boundaries. He was   declared as man of the match and was presented a cash prize of Rs. 2100 and a trophy by Manik  Gupta.
In the 8th match, Vicky XI Pathankot won the toss and chose to bat first to set a target of 185  runs by losing  4 wickets in 20 overs. Prince and Nikhal of Vicky XI Pathankot scored 59 and 54 runs respectively. Rubaljit  Singh and Seepa of  Sandhu cricket Club Ludhiana were the main successful bowlers who took 1 wicket each. Sandhu Cricket Club Ludhiana could not chase the target and managed to score only 101 runs in 20  overs. Seepa and Mohit Honda  who scored 19 and 15 runs respectively  were main scorers. Sukha and Baltej of Vicky XI Pathankot took 2 wickets each.
Prince who scored 59 runs and took 1 wicket  was declared as man of the match and was presented a cash prize of Rs. 2100 and a trophy by Amit  Gupta.
