Vibodh convenes public grievances redresal camp

RAJOURI, July 10: To reach out to common people and for having first hand account of problems being faced by remote and backward pockets of Rajouri, senior BJP leader and MLC, Vibodh Gupta convened a public darbar at Dak Bungalow here today. During the public meet, he listened to the plight of people and assured to take up their issues with the concerned departments.
He also met various deputations hailing from as many as 30 villages of Rajouri including Khwas, Swani Budhal, Koteranka, Darhal, Thanamandi, Kakora, Rajdhani, Khaa, Dassal and Thandakasi and gave patient hearing to their genuine grievances.
Taking serious note of problems being faced by people, he called upon officers from different departments to ensure immediate redressal of problems faced by them. While discussing on a wide range of problems faced by rural population of Rajouri, MLC directed officers to ensure good standard of living in rural areas of the district with adequate electricity and water supply.
Besides one to one interaction with officers, Vibodh telephonically contacted officers who couldn’t reach on the spot and asked them to pen down the various issues  those reported to him by people.
Later addressing the gathering, MLC said that polices and schemes of Narendra Modi Government have benefited common and poor people at large. He further said that the Centrally sponsored schemes are reaching to poor people without any pilferage. He said for the first time in the history of India, deserving people are incurring benefits without pilferage. The present system has become more accountable and transparent for those who are honest while the corrupt people are felling trapped, he added.
While referring to the dreams of PM, Narendra Modi, Vibodh said that PM is leaving no stone unturned to make India the most powerful nation of the world, now the onus lies on the administration to work hard and ensure that his dreams become a reality.
