Vibodh announces Rs 5 lakh for Rajouri court complex

JAMMU, Oct 20: On the invitation of the Bar Association of Rajouri, Member Legislative Council (MLC) Adv. Vibodh Gupta visited the court complex Rajouri and discussed various issues being faced by the lawyers. After visiting various parts of the court complex, Vibodh announced an amount of Rs. five lakh from his Constituency Development Fund for the renovation of the chambers of the lawyers. It is important to note that the chambers of lawyers in Rajouri Court Complex are in shabby condition. The prominent lawyers of the Rajouri court were present during the visit of MLC.
Speaking on the occasion Gupta said that lawyers are the cream of a society and they must be given due regard and respect. He said that he is among one of those lawyers and the Rajouri Bar Association has always given him lot of love and regard. He further said the even after becoming MLC he will continue to be part of the legal fraternity. He said that five lakh is not a big amount considering the work which needs to be done but promised that he will give more amount for this in future. Gupta also added that lawyers can play very vital role in providing appropriate legal advice to the common and needy people for redresal of their grievances.
Gupta stressed on shifting of court complex to a new place as the space available at present place is less.
Advocate Shakoor Mir, Haq Nawaz Mirza and Rajesh Sharma also spoke and complimented the MLC for his visit to the Rajouri Court complex and for sanctioning Rs. five lakh for the renovation of the chambers of the lawyers.
