VHP leader takes strong exception to CM’s remarks

JAMMU, Jan 31: VHP has strongly criticized the statement of Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, who called the people targeting Article 370 as anti-national.
In a statement issued here, today, the VHP senior leader Dr Rama Kant Dubey termed the CM’s remarks as an insult to the patriotic people of the country.
Dr Dubey while taking serious exception to the statement said that Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti should seek an apology as the statement has hurt the sentiments of the people. Terming Article 370 as a barrier and hurdle in progress and development of the State, he alleged that Kashmiri leaders have always used it for political blackmail. Till this Article is there the J&K will continue to remain in problem, he added.
Dr Dubey said VHP will oppose any such law which will be barrier in total integration of the State with Union of India.
He said as early Article 370 goes it is better for the people of the State as its abrogation will be end to the all barriers which are an impediment in the development of the State and progress of its people.
