VHP, KPC for free hand to army

JAMMU, Feb 17: Vishaw Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) have criticized those who have objected the statement of Army Chief who had warned a tough action against stone pelters in Valley.
In a statement here, today VHP senior leader Dr Rama Kant Dubey said that those opposing the Army Chief’s statement are siding with the secessionists and they should be exposed before the public.
Dr Dubey while demanding tough action against the terrorists, secessionists and stone pelters said the situation has deteriorated in Kashmir due to the lenient approach of the Government for quite some years.
He said that army and security forces be given free hand in containing the situation and dealing with ultras and their supporters.
KPC chief Kundan Kashmiri also demanded that security forces fighting a proxy war for last three decades in Kashmir be given a free hand and their should be no political interference in their affairs.
He said those taking arms against the nation be treated as enemies and they deserve the same treatment which is done with an enemy. He criticized the statements of some mains stream parties who opposed the Army Chief warning a tough action against pelters.
