VHP criticizes HM for not meeting border people

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Oct 22: VHP State president, Dr Rama Kant Dubey has expressed his serious concern over the failure of Union Home Minister, Sushil Kumar Shinde to meet the border people during his visit to Jammu region today and termed his visit a total failure.
In a statement here, today he said it is unfortunate that Mr Shinde did not bother to see the plight of the border people who have been suffering constantly for months together due to Pak shelling and were unable to harvest their crop.
He said these people are in distress and fear worst due to continuous firing and shelling from across and don’t know which bullet will kill them and where. He said what was the fun of the visit of Home Minister when he could not meet the people living on borders who are victims of Pak shelling and find ways to bring succor to them.
Dr Dubey said the VHP had not any expectations from this visit as it had already made this clear and it reiterates its demand of tough action against Pak.
