JAMMU, May 4: This year’s Dinu Bhai Pant Memorial Life Time Achievement Award will be given to veteran Dogri writer and a well known film personality, Ved Rahi.
It was announced jointly by Dr Manoj, Chairperson of Dinu Bhai Pant Memorial Trust and Prof Lalit Mangotra, president of Dogri Sanstha.
The award ceremony will be held in Abhinav Theatre Jammu on May 11, 2018. This is the award for the second year. The last year’s award was conferred upon Padma Sachdev.
This annual award carries cash prize of Rs 51 thousand, a medallion, a shawl and citation. The award has been instituted by Dinu Bhai Pant Memorial Trust , run by the family members of Dinu Bhai Pant and given under the aegis of Dogri Sanstha.
