DODA, Aug 31: A Village Defence Committee (VDC) member allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his gun at his residence in Railla area, falling under the jurisdiction of Gandoh Police Station, a police official said.
The deceased has been identified as Ravinder Kumar (23), son of Amar Chand, a resident of Railla.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to morgue of Gandoh hospital for autopsy.
Gandoh police has taken cognizance in this regards.
