JAMMU, Feb 24: Vice-Chairperson (VC), J&K SIDCO Subash Jandial visited the Industrial Estate IGC Phase-II and III Samba and took stock of J&K SIDCO working and ascertained the progress of the works being executed by the Engineering Wing and management of the Estates.
During the visit, Subash Jandial, accompanying SE (Civil), Xen (Civil & Electrical), Manager Estates Samba and AEE (Civil) visited the various units i.e. M/s Grauer and well (India) Limited Phase-II and M/s Kandhari Beverages Limited (under construction) Phase-III Samba to have interaction with the management of these units to ascertain about the difficulties if any being faced by them. The management of these units told to the Vice-Chairman that they are satisfied with the present set up and working of the J&K SIDCO.
During the site inspections, the executing staff was directed to accelerate the progress of the centrally sponsored and other schemes which are under implementations so that the fruits of progress and transferred to the industrial units in the Estate.
He also instructed the staff to be vigilant to avoid encroachment of Estates land and have good liaising with the revenue authorities for acquisition of land for the coming units. Vice-Chairman also planted a fruit plant in the premises of the SIDCO office at Samba.
