VC JKPCC visits Baramulla, inspects ongoing projects

SRINAGAR, Aug 19: To inspect pace of works being carried out on various developmental projects, the Vice Chairman (VC) JKPCC Sheikh Khalid Jehangir today conducted an extensive tour of Baramulla district.
He inspected various ongoing projects including construction of Medical College, District Hospital Baramulla and Prenia Bridge. While inspecting the ongoing work on Medical College, VC was informed that Medical College will be completed at the cost of Rs. 139 crores on time.
He also inspected the undergoing work on 65 meter span Pernia Bridge, being constructed at a cost of Rs. 492 lakh connecting village Pernia with Main Highway of the district. He directed the concerned executing agencies to speed up the pace of work so that it is completed within stipulated time and people of the area are benefitted.
Later, the VC chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress of various developmental works. He directed for expediting the pace of all ongoing works to complete them within stipulated time.
