JAMMU, May 29: Vice-Chairman, Jammu Development Authority (JDA) Satesh Nehru, along with team of senior officers of JDA comprising Superintending Engineer, Chief Town Planner, Senior Architect, Director Land Management, Executive Engineer, Tehsildar, and Chief Khilafwarzi Officer visited various areas and enquired about the land use violations being made by some allottees/ land mafia.
Lot of violations were observed by the VC, which have been taken very seriously by the Vice Chairman, who has directed the DLM/CTP to depute Surveyor alongwith Khilafwarzi Officer to check the violations and submit their report within 2 days so that demolition and action under rule can be taken against these violators.
Vice Chairman has directed the DLM to remove these encroachments immediately so that residential plots for economically weaker section people can be carved out on these lands at Roop Nagar as well as at Kote.
