Vakil asked both National Conference and Congress to correct their past before accusing others of propagating and implementing dynasty politics in Jammu and Kashmir State.
Vakil also asked Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to break her silence over her failure in conducting by elections to South Kashmir Parliamentary constituency and instead announcing the polls for Panchayats in haste.
Asking Chief Minister to explain that has the conducive atmosphere for Panchayat elections been created in the State, particularly in Kashmir Valley, Vakil said the Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) on which PDP was beating drums have not been taken so for and the deepening crisis of power and water in mid winter months has angered the already annoyed people in Kashmir valley,
Asking State Government to create a conducive atmosphere for Panchayat polls before announcing election schedule, Vakil warned that the exercise for conducting Panchayat polls could prove counter productive.
Hitting out at former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah -for conveying readiness of his party for the conduct of Panchayat elections, Vakil dared the former to move out and hold an election rally in the plains of Kashmir instead of border areas like Uri and Machail.
