JAMMU, Dec 29: President “Jammu Kashmir Bachao Tehreek” and former Minister Abdul Gani Vakil today said that with the induction of Tassaduq Mufti, brother of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti as Minister, BJP too is exposed by supporting brazen decision of promoting dynastic rule in the State of Jammu & Kashmir.
Maintaining that Bachao Tehreek stands for end of dynastic rule and will leave no stone unturned to fight the same, Vakil also lambasted NC and Congress saying they should correct their past on promotion of dynastic politics before raising fingers on others over the issue.
Alleging that National Conference has promoted and firmed up roots of dynasty politics in Jammu & Kashmir State the way Congress did it at the Centre during last seventy years, Vakil said third generation of Abdullahs’ in the State and fourth generation of Gandhis’ are keeping control of National Conference and Congress party only for grabbing power. Vakil asked both National Conference and Congress to correct their past before accusing others of propagating and implementing dynasty politics in Jammu and Kashmir State.
Vakil also asked Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to break her silence over her failure in conducting by elections to South Kashmir Parliamentary constituency and instead announcing the polls for Panchayats in haste.
Asking Chief Minister to explain that has the conducive atmosphere for Panchayat elections been created in the State, particularly in Kashmir Valley, Vakil said the Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) on which PDP was beating drums have not been taken so for and the deepening crisis of power and water in mid winter months has angered the already annoyed people in Kashmir valley,
Asking State Government to create a conducive atmosphere for Panchayat polls before announcing election schedule, Vakil warned that the exercise for conducting Panchayat polls could prove counter productive.
Hitting out at former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah -for conveying readiness of his party for the conduct of Panchayat elections, Vakil dared the former to move out and hold an election rally in the plains of Kashmir instead of border areas like Uri and Machail.
